BRANDS OF THE IT MARKET. THEIR POSITIONING IN RESELLERS’ MIND

From the past years and using the power of its updated and improved database, BOLETIN DE LA COMPUTACION has been recognized as a reliable marketing investigation’s agency that gives detailed and useful statistical information to those who take the decisions in our market.

Every six months, BOLETIN DE LA COMPUTACION applies a survey that allows us to collect essential data. In the first semester’s survey, we collect info that lets us outline the MEXICAN RESELLERS OF THE IT MARKET and show the TOP TEN DISTRIBUTORS IN MEXICO (information available at www.boletin.com.mx/research)

In this issue, we are publishing the results of our second survey in 2006: BRANDS POSITIONING OF THE MEXICAN IT MARKET. This investigation includes 40 lines of the most important products of the market and 250 brands have been considered. The survey was applied via e mail and was answered by 1415 resellers located nationwide; the number of resellers that answered the survey constitutes the 8.93% of the total universe of resellers. We applied the survey during the second and the third weeks of July 2006.

BOLETIN DE LA COMPUTACION, as a working politic, uses this methodology to give to the market useful information to support daily decisions. We keep that in mind when we elaborate every question, compose the formulary, apply it, classify and present the results.

When we apply the survey, we use the scientific method to produce knowledge and, when we publish the results, they can be used by the entire market; so every company, can make its own technological, logistic, marketing and administrative strategies.

The way we publish the results, is a transparent platform that turns the survey into an endless source of information for the experts in statistical analysis and for those who decide to make good use of it, giving more benefits to their companies.
